My vote has been cast

So Jeff was off today and we were able to take turns voting instead of trying to drag the little boys in with us. It worked out really well. Good thing Brayden fell asleep on the way because he would have been greatly disappointed. I told him we were going to vote and his reply was, "fishing". At first I didn't know what in the world he was talking about. "We're going to vote". "Going fishing". Oh, I get it, you think I said we were going on a boat..... Too cute. Nah, sorry little guy. I wish we had a boat! =) Since we moved in the spring and neglected to notify the board of elections in our old county, (how irresponsible!) we would not have been able to vote without the early voting. So, we registered in our residing county and for the first time since college, I had to fill in the bubble just right so the machine would read my vote correctly. In KY, we had the electronic machines outfitted with those nifty curtains. Anyway, I'm so thankful it wasn't like those crazy punch ballots that I was all too obsessed with in 2000, but it felt a little silly filling in the bubbles just so. I'd rather push a button. Just call me lazy. Let me know the results, I'm SO over the media at this point. Please stop with your stupid polls!

I'll bet you're glad your part is done! Tuesday will be very interesting =) Did you have to cancel Jeff's vote out? Kurt and I kid each other that that's what we usually have to do LOL

We voted on Monday....got ahead of the long lines. Yeah, the "bubbles" to fill in sure was a change after using a voting machine in KY. I thought I'd gone back in time. I'll be so glad to see a regular advertisement again...bring on the Charmin commercials!!!

Anything but Dole/Hagan commercials! They're worse than the McCain/Obama ads!
